Freedom From Depression

Wednesday, 25 January 2006 19:41 Last Updated on Saturday, 06 June 2009 15:33

New Hope for Depression is a 12 part self-help support group for all ages that have been held in the grip of discouragement, disappointment, low self esteem, negative feelings and anxiety. Any of these can be indicators of the onset of depression. The stress factors of our lives can create circumstances which produce an environment of sadness, mental dullness, inward anger and overall numbness. Have you ever felt like giving up and not knowing why? Our group will help identify the sources of pessimistic thinking in your life. With the support of others in the workshop, you will come to understand you are not alone. Positive change can then take place in your life through development of healthy thinking patterns.

The group will uphold and support you in your time of need; A safe haven from the negative input of the world around you. You will emerge renewed in spirit, soul and body. You will find release from isolation, anger, grief and control of others. Please come and join us and allow change to bring healing into your life.

The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 'My people perish for lack of knowledge.' However, God in His mercy and loving kindness has provided that life sustaining knowledge in the Freedom from Depression workshop. Together we will discover the ability to use that knowledge in our lives.
