Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hat made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Mrs. Randall - Library
I trained to be a teacher but like many in my generation could not find a posiition after graduation. I then continued on with my education and have been a librarian since 1976. During my career I have worked in almost every area of librarianship. I became a public library director in 2001. I also began teaching graduate students in 2003 and discovered that I still enjoyed teaching. I am an amateur genealogist as well and found myself drawn to teaching workshops in that area as well.
I first came to OSL as a Mom in 1987 when my daughter attended four-year nursery. My son also attended OSL and during those years I was a room mother. In 1993 the whole family joined Our Savior’s church and in the 2000s I served on the building expansion committee. Needless to say I was a constant advocate for the importance of the library (and reading) for the school.
I am hoping that the skills I’ve obtained over the many years of my career will be fully used in the service of our Lord at Our Savior’s Lutheran School.
