Academic Excellence

At Our Savior’s Christian School, academic excellence is cultivated across all grade levels through a rigorous, thoughtfully designed curriculum that prepares students for high school and beyond. As students advance into middle school, they are offered opportunities for accelerated and advanced coursework to support their individual strengths and readiness. In 8th grade, qualifying students may take Regents-level Biology and Algebra I, allowing them to earn high school credit while still in a supportive middle school environment. Students enrolled in Spanish I also have the opportunity to sit for the Checkpoint A Proficiency Exam, giving them a strong foundation in world language study and an early start toward high school language requirements. These advanced academic pathways challenge students, build confidence, and ensure they are well-prepared for the expectations of high school and future academic success.
