Our Savior’s Christian School believes that a child's education is enhanced immensely through music and the arts.
Music
The fundamentals of music are incorporated into the curriculum beginning in elementary school. As students begin to learn these, they are given the opportunity to use rhythm instruments, bells, percussion and their own voice to enhance their understanding of these fundamentals.
Visual Arts
A simple walk through our school highlights the artistic talents of our students from Pre-K to 8th grade!
Performing Arts
Students are encouraged to explore their God-given talents while being taught personal accountability and cooperative learning. Students in Kindergarten - 8th grades host a Christmas concert each year and the 3-8th grade have a spring concert.
Each spring, our middle school students perform a musical or play, showcasing their various talents. Most recent performances have included: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, Beauty and the Beast Jr., Annie Jr., Frozen Jr., Beauty and the Beast, and most recently, the Wizard of Oz Jr.
Before Care
OSCS offers before care for all students 3yrs - 8th grade. Our school doors open at 7:30am. The school day begins at 8:30am.
After School Care
Parents have the opportunity to have their children attend Our Savior's After-school Program from 3:00-6:00 p.m. each day when school is in session for a full day. This supervised after-school care includes a snack, time to do homework, and recreational activities.
