Accreditation & Academic Excellence
Our Savior’s Christian School is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools. This dual accreditation reflects our commitment to strong academics, biblical integration, and continuous school improvement across every grade level. Through regular evaluation, curriculum review, and analysis of student outcomes, we ensure that our programs remain rigorous, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with best practices in Christian education. Students at OSCS consistently demonstrate strong performance on nationally normed achievement tests and state-mandated assessments, reflecting the strength of our instructional program and our partnership with families.
Preschool (3 and 4-Year-Old Program)
Our dual accreditation includes our 3 and 4-year-old preschool program, providing our youngest learners with a strong, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate foundation. Accredited standards ensure that our preschool classrooms support early academic readiness, social-emotional growth, and faith formation in a safe and engaging environment. From the earliest years, students benefit from intentional instruction, structured routines, and Christ-centered care that prepares them for success in elementary school and beyond.
Elementary School
In the elementary grades, our accredited program emphasizes core academic skills, character development, and a love of learning. Curriculum and instruction are regularly reviewed to ensure alignment with accreditation standards and best practices. Students build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while growing in their faith and understanding of God’s world. Ongoing assessment and achievement testing help us monitor progress and maintain high levels of academic performance.
Middle School
Our middle school program continues to build on this strong academic and spiritual foundation while preparing students for high school-level expectations. Students consistently perform well on nationally normed and state-mandated assessments. Eighth-grade students have the opportunity to take New York State Regents exams in Algebra I and Living Environment (Biology), as well as a Spanish I proficiency exam, allowing them to earn recognition for advanced coursework and demonstrate readiness for high school academics.
High School (Growing Program)
Beginning with 9th grade and adding one grade level each year, Our Savior’s Christian School is expanding to include a high school program that will continue under our established framework of dual accreditation. As we grow, we are committed to maintaining the same rigorous academic standards, continuous improvement processes, and Christ-centered mission that define our current programs. Our high school will build on the strong foundation established in preschool through middle school, ensuring continuity in academic excellence, spiritual growth, and preparation for college, career, and life.
